|Our lovely staff members|
Keystone Supplements is staffed by a group of committed people with varied backgrounds. At our core, we are experts and proponents of an active and healthy lifestyle. Most of us are avid exercisers. Our diets range from cutting-edge recipes for smoothies to dark green leafy vegetable salads with alternative dressings made from tahini or tofu.
Yet, we embrace all walks of life. Some of our staff members are busy parents and web design experts who spend more time in an office than at a gym. Their diets may be more traditional with classic dishes “just like mama used to make”. This is strategic. Our diversity helps us tap into healthy solutions that can be translated to “real life”.
At Keystone, we all work together for the common good. Our team leaders are published experts in the field of nutrition, health and fitness. They come largely from sports organizations and have decades of combined experience. They have worked in the field of nutrition and exercise and have weathered the vast variety of health and fitness trends, enabling them to lead with perspective and wisdom.
To that end, our strengths lie in going “outside the box”. We are decidedly not “fad followers”. We don’t exclusively connect to one philosophy at the expense of considering every possible way of achieving our goal. That goal is to deliver a recipe for a healthy lifestyle and provide you the systems and support you need to achieve your health and fitness objectives.
We began nearly a decade ago as a company devoted to the sale of dietary supplements. We did that successfully for a number of years, reaching national and international markets.
While we still advocate supplements when indicated, we no longer make their sales the focus of our company. In the past three years, we have assembled a team of experts who have widened our mission with the advent of healthy living information for all.
We were a narrow-focused company. Then, we had an epiphany. One day, one of our staff came into work immediately following a long training session for an upcoming Tough Mudder event. As its own website describes it, Tough Mudder is a team-oriented 10-12 mile (18-20 km) obstacle course designed to test physical strength and mental grit. Tough Mudder puts camaraderie over finisher rankings and is not a timed race but a team challenge that allows participants to experience exhilarating, yet safe, world-class obstacles they won’t find anywhere else.
Sounds like a great business model, doesn’t it? Our founding group was immediately intrigued. Why couldn’t we take this basic philosophy, whether for the already fit or those desiring to be fit, and create a healthy living company, seeking to extend our message with the same theme and spirit as an event like this one?
And that’s what we have done!
From our competitive triathletes, roadrunners and “gym rats” with nutritional discipline to our everyday folks who enjoy a stroll in good weather during a semi-healthy lunch break, we have assembled a list of educational research and advice, which we are proud to share with you.
